    that's sad.

A lot of people trawl thrift shops for books now and probably resell online.
We sell loads of them at work, plus a lot are deemed poor condition so they get recycled.

this it's also why prices have gone up at these places drastically, there was a place I used to go to in the nearby town (it's run by one of the church organizations) it went from being having great prices and a decent selection of things to being over priced and picked clean by resellers and trendy yuppies
same thing happened with a couple goodwill stores.

People have been trawling thrift shops for all kinds of stuff to resell on ebay, facebook or whatever for years now. But it got really out of hand in the last 3 or so years.
Many years ago it would only be certain things, like antiques, really old rare books and stuff like that.
Now you just have loads of people on their phones looking everything up all the time.

Aye. There are still a couple left that I know of. One of them is over 30mi away so it's hard to justify a trip without other stuff to do in the town.

Yeah, I ended up changing plans on a vehicle purchase over a year ago because I figured gas was going up . It would've been nice but I couldn't justify it needing premium .

Sure do, they even pay hourly for you to browse it. But it's complicated to get into, and they get angry and throw people out after a day of browsing for some reason.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

is that worse than the guys at the hardware store getting mad at you for testing out toilets?
