Default Classic First Person Shooters for PC (2002-2006 era)?

Well, this is kind of a specific request. I'm a good fan of FPS games and I'm kinda interested to know any classic FPS for PC made between 2002 and 2006 (just trying to make them fit with my hardware config, since I've noticed any game made after 2006 just sucks on my PC). Even prior to 2002 are ok, actually, like Blood 2, just an example.
For "classic" I mean: single player campaign, wide choice of weapons, a story (whatever it is), jump, crouch, run, shoot, grenades, aliens, zombies, soldiers, whatever.
No strategy, co-op or puzzles, I find myself hating complex stuff or "original" gameplay mashups. Just plain "go and kill" FPS games, doesn't matter if the general reception went below 70/100. Some games which are rated sheesh from most game sites and magazines are actually pretty funny to me (example: Vietnam 2, Delta Force series and similar ones).

Any mentionable title according to these (seriously strict, maybe) criterias ?

np, just found this site --- with plenty of them, but if you know any other title it's welcome

The Serious Sam games are probably right up your alley. Starwars Battlefront 2 is pretty straight forward as well.

A lot of games have stealth or minor rpg elements like leveling up a bit so it's hard to say. No one lives Forever 2 is great but not as much run and gun for example. Also Bond Nightfire is pretty good but still you sometimes have to use gadgets to find secret paths etc..

yep, played those, very funny especially the first one, I still remember the "gib" effects or dismemberments. I wish all FPS followed such standard and make the enemies not just fall on the ground in a lame animation, that would have made games like Max Payne and RTCW perfect.... but it seems most FPS in that age had a specific element of distinction, while discarding other elements which could have made them really "complete". SOF series is nearly perfect, it only lacks of a simpler menu and it has unfortunely a pretty useless parent block.

I mean, shooters are about shooting. You don't make children play with them, unless they're paintball shooters (yeah, they exist, lol)... parental lock is pretty absurd, there's supposed to be violence therefore M+ by default, imho. Like... give a gun to a kid and tell him " Don't shoot with it or you're grounded!" lol nonsense...

Old call of duty games fit your description, for example call of duty 1, call of duty united offensive, call of duty 2. Regular old go and shoot games.
