It's a beast though, no doubt. I am confused between PS5 (no links with 1st posts please)and the Xbox (no links with 1st posts please). Both are good options but I was playing Playstation since childhood. But now my friends are forced me to buy Xbox. According to them, Xbox has more features than any console.

So, Inshot if you give some suggestions then I will be thankful.

Buy neither here in 2021, they got no games. Yeah they can play other stuff, but that's not a reason to buy a console.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

It actually does use Windows. It's basically a stripped down Win10.

I believe the original Xbox used a stripped down version of Windows 2000
Xbox 360 used a stripped down version of XP(Maybe very ealry on?) Vista/7 (I think)
And Xbox One and Series use Win stripped Win 10 as Zaladane mentioned.

I know the Xboxes uses DirectX (Microsoft's Graphics API) as the original code name for it was DirectXbox.

Dreamcast also did too. WindowsCE although not all games used it and some had their own on disc.

Actually when the XB1 first came it was a stripped down Win8 then upgraded to 10.
