    Default epsxe in windows XP

I can't get it to run from a CD. I'm not sure if it's a windows problem, or an issue with my system though. I get an "* error in init aspi (235)" message, then the GPU closes.

Mine works, did you try changing the plugins for the cd reader on epsxe?

if thats not it maybe your drive is unable to read PSone discs...

try out some more cd plugins

True, judging from the message you got, it's probably an issue with your ASPI layer... I think WinXP doesn't come with that particular driver...

Last I knew, you could download ForceASPI from ngemu...

My bad. It was the CD-rom plugin. I just got a new notebook PC, and my usual plugin doesn't work properly.
