this is something truly different from my other stuff....because this is not computer art, this is REAL art!!

the only thing i used photoshop for was just to slightly adjust the colors, since the colors got a little messed up after i scanned this in

basically, i took a block of linoleum and carved out everywhere where you see white....then, i covered the block with ink, put a piece of paper on top of it, and put it through a printing press....

btw, this was a school project....

so I made casual one for display in a restaurant, and maybe it might be sold for the prize i make... 120 €!!

The title (Mehr Meer) is German. It means "more sea". Not really making sense, but in german mehr is pronounced the same way as meer, and still the title is not making sense...

Some of them look a little off because I scanned them in greyscale. The originals had some blue pen that didn't translate well to that. I'm going to touch them up and finish 'em off when I have the time.

Probably because it's just the way I always seem to draw when I sit down to sketch. To be quite honest, I'm not that creative, and rarely ever have any ideas in mind. I just start drawing, and for some reason that's the way they turn out.

I honestly don't think I could draw at all if I tried to turn 'em the other way.
