According to Zophars Domain an emu named Xeon has been released. it plays Halo, but at very small speeds. Look here http://www.zophar.net/xbox.html

I read about this a couple of days back, seems genuine enough albeit incredibly slow and not really worth using at the moment. The author has given some info to Caustik, so if the info is genuine expect CBXC to improve again.

Is this old news? I thought it might be new because Zophars posted it a little over an hour ago

I first read about it here; http://www.emutalk.net/showthread.php?t=15601 on August 13th. So it's still fairly new news. Caustiks reply is also on the same site.

Zophar's are quite possibly the slowest emulation news source you could rely on..
They used to be excellent, but have since, become less than useful when it comes to news.

Why not? NGEmu does a fine job from what i've seen.
And they update fairly often with emulation news. Are they the fastest? I wouldn't know..
But ZD is certainly one if not "the" slowest anymore.

And you can't stand the place now just because they redesigned it...?
Come on. Be serious here, i'm sure you could readjust to the change if you tried.
And even so, you don't need to go anywhere but the main page to see the news they have up.

lol, I have tried to find the PPF files, I just am not able to find them. The forums, and news are the only redeeming factor about them IMHO

Simple fix for your Ngemu problem:
Top left of the default screen, underneath where it says style, change the default style to classic. Viola, you have the old Ngemu site back.

Best emulation news site? Retrogames, or Emulation64 IMHO.

The new Xeon Xbox emulator looks pretty promising and it seems more advance than CBXC and it claims it run many commerical games in the future. But I am not too sure about that...

As for emulation news, I always check ngemu. They updated very frequently. Another good site with news would be emulatio 64(i rarely check out that site). But since both of them are affiliates to each other, they will probably have pretty much the same news.

    They are hot, aren't they??
