can't receive cookies
since the other thread by crusher about cookies has been closed, and the answer wasn't there, so i'm posting this again.
well i have IE 6.0 winxp.
now, i didn't do anything (by default it should allow cookies since that's what has been happening for the last 2 years using xp. installed many many times). and now i have to log in all the time every couple of mins. i don't see red eye anywhere in any bars.
any help?

very interesting.
i even chose the lowest one (accept all cokies).
it works when you just switch to another site, then come back to emuparadise. it's still okay. but when you close the browser, the next time you open it, it won't log you in.

Go to:
-user cp

-on "Automatically login when you return to the site?", check on the yes
see if that works.
If that's not the problem, tell me amidiately.

hum..i'm using IE6.0 that comes with xp. plus xp sp1.
they dont have the cookies option.
but under privacy->advanced, enabled override automatic cookie handling:
first party cookies:accept
third party cookies:accept
always allow session_cookies
but still doesn't work.
i don't suppose require a restart do i?

man, this is wierd. Well, do you still have the "Installation" program? if you do, you could delete the IE, and install again, unless you're afraid. (ie, save files.)

Good luck, and moved your save files, if you have any, to another folder!

just reinstall with IE 6 xp sp1, and the same thing. still doesn't work.
it's just that, everytime you open up a new browser the cookies won't catch.
if it's the same browser, it's okay.

ok, fresh it off. So do you hae a different browser lying around? Cause if you can't enable cookies, you can't get around the internet.
