Default Dolphin 5.0-11384, OpenAL too slow on some games, Direct3D11 perfect speed but missing textures

Well, the header is self explanatory... To be honest I just started using Dolphin a couple weeks ago so I'm no expert yet clearly.

For example and to begin with, Star Fox Adventures runs far too slow except when switching to D3D11 but subtitles, transitions, some backgrounds, some effects, fades in/outs are all missing. OpenAL does work better with some other games but having a couple too many sounds occurring at once causing crackling audio is kind of bothersome (some games it can become unbearable). Metroid Prime's (the first one) speed is also sometimes schizophrenic. Um, I can't think of anything else I'd like to add. All I can think to do is list my specs if it's of any help.

Yeah pretty much. Me and Zorlon haven't really been around for some time.

In the case of Starfox the game still to this day has a couple of minor issues so hopefully in the future revisions to Dolphin will address them. But in the meantime one fix that is supposed to help is to: Disable EFB Copies to Texture Only in hacks. Your GPU seems a little weak too.

Other than that I can only suggest to run at native and close down as many background processes as possible.
