Yes everything is supposed to carry over to next gen, all current gen titles and also the whole BC library.
Hopefully when the new console is released they will start adding more BC titles but it's possible they might end up going the way Sony and ninty have (porting stuff and labelling them remasters regardless of how much or little work has been done).

I'm hoping Mafia 1 is going to be good though. The whole game was apparently rebuilt which is why I call it a remake.

Mafia 1 individual release is bloody expensive though Which is another reason why I've just gone ahead and ordered the trilogy.
Not cheap ($90aud) but whatever, I'm not in a habit of doing this at all. In fact I've never pre'd anything before Day 1 purchase in store is the closest I've done (Fallout 4 was the last time iirc).
Mafia I Remake is being sold for $40 USD, though that is preorder price here. Not sure if it will change. But that's the Mafia Remake physical by itself, not the triology.

That's like $55aud which is cheaper than the retail price for that single physical title here.
I'm paying like $66usd for the trilogy physical.

Win 10 running like a sack of shit after the latest updates. Browsers freezing, can't open folders or start menu. Tried disabling Sysmain and I've uninstalled updates to see if it changes anything.

That didn't fix anything. All my icons are disappearing from the desktop. I can't be arsed to try a restore point, that takes as long as it does to re-install Windows.

Gonna try update from 1909 to 2004.

I ended up doing a clean install to v2004. Then the action centre icon in the bottom right wouldn't work. I had to re-register action centre using Windows PowerShell (Admin).

Made a backup to an external HDD. Everything seems okay... for now.

Nintendo confirms Mario 64, Sunshine, Galaxy remasters for Nintendo Switch

But trilogy pack only on sale until March.
Nintendo has confirmed its highly-anticipated trilogy of classic Super Mario game remasters headed to Nintendo Switch later this month. Dubbed as Super Mario 3D All-Stars, the collection will contain Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy. It arrives on 18th September.

A limited number of physical copies will be made, while the digital version will only be sold on the Switch eShop until the end of March 2021. Bizarre.

The triple pack will see each game "optimised" for Nintendo Switch. The trio will feature higher resolutions and "smoother gameplay performance", Nintendo has said, as well as a music player mode to listen to tunes from the three games.

As expected, these are not radical redesigns or remakes of the original games. Also as expected, unfortunately there's no sign of Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Oh, and when playing Galaxy's Co-Star mode, you will need separate Joy-Cons to use their pointer functionality. Worth noting for those with a Nintendo Switch Lite.

Doesn't look like they've bothered doing anything, just throw three old games on one cart and charge £49.99.

Now if they'd been remastered, I might have grabbed a copy. But the limited run will see copies on eBay at stupid prices.

I'm still personally going to grab it, cause I haven't played any of those games to completion and...I really want it. They do have a 16:9 aspect ratio though, with updated graphics for the most part. Just not ZOMG SOOPER HD GRAFICS!
