Spoiler warning:
Seen downloads for the Windows 11 leak. Think I'll give it a miss.
Microsoft should start off fresh and create a new OS named...Doors!!!!
I'll wait and see what the official Windows 11 is about on the 24th. I'll probably need to upgrade to 10 or 11 eventually.
I hope M$ don't have an annoying "upgrade reminder" they're going to push out. Or even worse, 10 tries to automatically update to 11
I've got accustomed to 10 now, I've installed it on quite a few systems but it's always the same cut-down version of enterprise that I use (so some of the bs is removed or disabled).
Spoiler warning:
If anybody wants to try out RA on XB1 just send me a PM and I can point you in the right direction.
You can't find it on the store by using search on either the console or PC, but it is on the store.
Spoiler warning:
RA?
Oh.
Any worries about your account being banned or anything if you transfer roms over etc.. I have way too many digital purchases and such.
Ah.
It's an approved app on the store.
The only thing they can do (which they have done in the past) is remove the app from the store thus breaking the app's update functionality. RA then can't be updated and is stuck on whatever version.
The roms thing they can't do anything about that, they aren't installed as games on the system they load inside the RA app.
I haven't read about anyone getting banned using RA on XB1, the dev or "retail" versions. Yep retail has been on the store before but was removed (and I assume the dev account that put it up was terminated).
Spoiler warning:
I mean do people get in trouble for downloading games that appear as free on store (M$ or PSN) due to a glitch?
The publisher/devs get nothing in that scenario and those aren't even old games.
Spoiler warning:
I don't think it has any illegal bios anyway, or any way to add them.
From what I've been told PS2, Gamecube and DC GDI just black screen. Some PS1 games don't work either and I suspect that might be bios related.
Apparently N64 works though.
I'll have to throw some roms onto a usb drive and have a look. I have the app installed and updated but haven't had time to do anything beyond look at the settings.
