Sigh, I'm so jealous of you living in such big countries.

We all live on the same big world.
It's more surprising some of us live close enough to see each others weather.

I think certain parts of Canada and the U.S. share a lot of weather. Or rather seem a lot of the same weather.

Something like 90% of Canada's population lives within an hours drive of the USA.

Also a pretty equal amount of Americans along the border as Canadians too. Not percentage wise but just population.

The weather would be more moderate there I guess?

Well that's generally the reason. You reach a point going Northwards where the country gets really rough not even factoring in the subarctic area and conditions thereof.

Probably why easily a 5th of the population of Canada is in Southern Ontario too which dips a ways down into the states and also the flip side why there's not much population in the States comparatively stretching way up into the North East of America.

I guess you're right. But it's a matter of being phisically too distant from some places and you would need (much) money to travel, other than room and board, in order to get there. Sigh.

Yeah I've read that to be true. Most of upper Canada is like harsh cold terrain. Or very arctic.

Some places are not expensive to travel too. It sounds like you don't live in Canada or America. But with Covid traveling is kinda hard right now.
