Civ 6 is having another freeplay weekend. I'm still impressed how well they mapped this game to a controller. Plus it doesn't take 10 minutes to load like it does on my old pos PC

Still, I wonder how much it will bog down late game with tons of shit going on which I never did last time.

After occasionally looking at used PS TV consoles for like $200au or more (depends if they're console only or complete boxed etc, it's easy to see prices $400aud or more tbh), I finally caved and purchased one locally (not far from where I live actually) for around $100aud. Comes with DS3 controller but isn't boxed.

I have one of each retail Vita variant now. Fat oled, slim and PS TV.
Only the slim is CiB.

Welp, testing complete.

It did get to the point where it started to jerk and freeze for a moment or 3 between turns and one full on crash to the dashboard in the late game.
