Still see the odd noob complaining "all I got were pictures of some lake" now and then, but it happens way less now.
It was hilarious way back when he started, people claiming it was all fake shares etc and obviously not even noticing he was an admin

The complaints you see now are usually "why all this messing around? give me iso plox".

No need to make it harder on the spiders and slow or prevent deletion, less steps for downloaders is all that matters .

Seems reasonable but not lightning fast. I haven't taken much notice of actual speed but I'm getting 1-2GB single files in like 2 minutes or something?
Waiting a full hour in between downloads is a real pain though (regardless of file size), I'd actually prefer a slower speed but zero wait in between.

The dl speed definitely isn't anywhere near my max connection though.
More than a year ago it would've max'd out my connection but I upgraded when covid started, locally I've got the fastest connection available now but it isn't actually fast by world standards. I live in the country so nothing I can do about it, definitely not moving to the city just to double my speed

Wait times suck but it sounds like the speed limit is way better than it used to be. Can you pause and resume?

Found a 25GB torrent that can knock some more XBLA content off my list, also some small single torrents.
I've still got some Babylon 5 & SG-1 1080p rips on my list anyway.
Gunna head off to bed now, bit sick of this waiting in between ddl's.
I'll talk to you another time. Don't be a stranger dude

The best I could do would be keeping my current ISP and getting additional service from one of the sat. ISPs for downloading now that some are offering no caps and better speeds .

    Goodnight.

idk I'm not using a manager. I haven't had a ddl manager on this lappy since I installed win10
I mostly grab torrents 24/7 and then the odd ddl now and then. Grab XB1 stuff as needed, watch vids and everything with torrents still running.

Yeah this speed is heaps better than what I had for years, which was like 1.5mbps adsl. It's 50mbps fixed wireless (not a "cell" tower, it's a dedicated tower) connection but that's just for dl and it's mostly more like 35-40 during the day. UL speed I really dunno, I've never tested it beyond playing online and uploading a few things to mega (but it's unlikely that uses the whole speed).

I have no data cap at all, it's unlimited.
The speed is limited solely by the ports setup on the tower but it's impossible to get a higher speed here where I am atm.
Maybe you could get higher if you had like 2 connections and merged them but I've never heard of anyone dong that here with fixed wireless.
I have read about at least one person (not business) doing it with fibre in a major city though, to get speed at least 200mbps or more (but that was a few years ago now).
