Still fun to laugh at 'Murica thoughYeah, the tacking on completely unrelated laws and amendments to an otherwise mostly popular bills is a time honored rat-fuckery tradition here in the U.S., several state legislatures have wording on record to prevent such stuff but at the highest levels, it's bread and butter.
"OH SO YOU'RE GONNA SHOOT DOWN THIS BILL BECAUSE OF THIS CLEARLY DUBIOUS ADDITION? WELL YOU MUST BE AGAINST PANDEMIC RELIEF THEN."
Of course most of the voting public are so out of tune, that they'll take that at face value too.
