Looks like PS3 and Vita are pretty much confirmed to be on death's door now.
You will only be able to browse/purchase store content via the consoles themselves (I've been told it's hell to use the store on PS3 now, but can't confirm that myself), not via mobile, PC or whatever.
Rumour is a lot of servers will be shutting down soon.
Another reason why emulation is important for preserving gaming.

    No idea.
You have a 4k tv don't you? Just hook up your drive straight to that, it should have a media option in the input select menu just like 1080p tv's do. But because it's 4k it might support some higher resolution formats (I would test to see if it can play x265 files for instance).

I should look over my DLC code text file and see about flipping any PS3 codes I have. But it's a problem when I have no idea what say a "Drakengard 3 DLC Pack Wave 1" even does, or if it's still valid, or have any idea what it's worth. And then I have codes where I just know the game they're for, not what they are. Or worse, I have codes that I don't even know what game or system they're for!

Like seriously, what platform put out 8 letter codes like ABCD-EFGH? Or 22 consecutive digits like 1234567890123456789012, could that possibly be a Vita code, my text file seems to hint that?
I can't remember if you can test Sony codes on consoles without actually redeeming them You can test codes on Xbox One without using them (including 360 codes).
The 8 digit/letter code might possibly be for a publisher website, some content can be activated that way although I never bother with it... creating a new login etc just for a costume/skin seems like a waste of time to me.

Playing Luigi's Mansion 3 with my brother. I am very pleased by the quality of co-op they added. It took too long for the second player-option to be introduced, but it will be great fun completing the whole thing with 2 players. The same could not be said about Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY.

Ugh, unsurprisingly Prime Day is trash. I'm seeing "sales" on various games, that aren't as cheap as said games have been in recent months. It's almost like they've just advertised on TV and expect a rush from a bunch of normies that don't know how much stuff should cost...

Watching an episode of Mash and Radar has an Avengers comic. Oops. 10 years too early.
