Living out in the country is peaceful. City living is too hectic.

True that. Been living in a big city for the past 3 years and I hate it. But I do have the option to do Door Dash and Lyft and stuff like that so that helps a bit too I guess.

Yeah each has their advantages and disadvantages, but I'd pick country over city.

I think for most sensible people it's choosing less stress over convenience. But plenty of people will increase their stress levels for the sake of convenience.
More stress affects your health. Living in the country is healthier for starters anyway. Real estate and even rent rates can be cheaper in the country.

With covid it's obvious living in big cities is riskier than rural areas. People in Melbourne are going crazy atm (they even have a night curfew) but out in the country we're just wearing masks, still doing stuff and having very low infection rates.

I guess one other downside to living in the country is slower internet, but DSL can give you pretty good speeds if you can get a good plan. I suppose it alao depends on your geographic area as well.

Guess I'm putting on the Blue Shirt again and working at Best Buy starting next week Monday. Part time, unfortunately, but with the 30 hours/week + Door Dashing, we'll make it.

I do get a discount! I'm really looking forward to having that back again. Have some things on my radar as long as I can have the money for it. Reallllly wanting to get Cyberpunk. And I know we carry Arcade 1UP Cabs and...Well I really hope there's a nice discount on them.

I don't remember how much we get off exactly, I know it varies from product to product. But I may stock up on batteries again since we get them for really cheap...I went through 3 of my 5 boxes of batteries in a couple years... Need to get some HDMI Cables too and those we can get really cheap too. Got my TV for like $300 off too once.

We don't have much in the way of new stuff, but I should get another mattress soon we stock those new. Probably wait for summer weather it's better for transporting stuff in the trailer.

I still haven't officially gone back to work yet anyway, I've been off for like 6 months
Have popped in now and then to catch up with everyone though and see what has been going on.

A new mattress is something I'm definitely saving up for with Door Dash... Either that or I'm taking out of my 401k anyway, might as well use that to get ourselves a new mattress cause we desperately need one.

That's cool you get a discount. I need to get a couple of HDMI cables. I know my local Best Buy carries select 1-up arcade. I wish they had the TMNT one.
