As a game there isn't anything special about it, but it all works and seems familiar. So yeah it was very enjoyable for me

I had the same sort of feeling when I played The Outer Worlds. It's nice to play new games that have familiar elements and controls, it doesn't mean the game will be boring.

Well that's it exactly. Well done 3rd person action/platformer. And of course Lightsabers

    Reminds me of Uncharted too.

Yeah I guess there's stuff in Fallen Order like from action rpg's that I've played over the years.

The Outer Worlds is more like Fallout 3 etc but in space with different planets/locations. Also a hint of Borderlands but no annoying graphics that gave me a headache thank God.

Yeah it was good. A lot of charm I thought. Wish you could have done more with the ship though. I think they've released extra content but not sure (I think their was a blanked out planet or 2 you couldn't get to?) I'll have to look it up. Got it day 1 which was around last Christmas and beat it within 5 days so don't remember too much else about it. Got a little tedious towards the end but probably because I binged it.

    Borderlands bugs me too.

Anyone here like Wheel of Time?

We're getting close to the show coming out and starting to get worried it's going to be an Emo pop MTV style piece of crap like Shannara was. Which is a shame since the books are great and makes Game of Thrones look like a pop up book.

    lol that show was terrible.
I forced myself to watch it, but it honestly makes a heap of other teen shows (well, that's what I call them anyway) seem so much better than they actually are (eg The 100).

*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

So it looks like the battery packs from Xbone controllers will work with the series X controller (which is just an elite 1 afaik)

All you get with the console like always is a couple AA batteries with it

I really want this fucking thing. Seriously. Nice at this point in my life where I can simply plunk down nearly 700 bucks on a new computer game system. BUT IT'S NOT IN STOCK ANYWHERE AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Yeah none in stock at shops locally near me. I'm not even sure if there are any left in Melbourne shops tbh.
I can't justify spending $700 or more on a launch console
As I said I'd be more keen on getting XB1 X bnib...if I can get one under $300-350. One of those elite controllers would be nice too but they're impossible to find at a reasonable price, I have no real complaints about the standard S controller anyway

It's all scalpers BIN or crazy auctions. I actually spotted an auction before with both Series X and PS5 bundled together, first day already had heaps of bids and it was over $1k aud. But there's still 5 or 6 days of bidding left

Doing our move-in walkthrough tomorrow with our new landlord. I think we get the keys tomorrow and can start moving stuff into the house tomorrow too. I'm so excited/nervous and I'm just SO ready to move.

God I'm so happy he gave us a good deal on this house. Having him as my former baseball coach is the best lol.
