Also my very very very longstanding avatar is suddenly relevant again... Maybe it needs a bit of a photoshop to bring it into the 2020s.

Well, looks like we'll be moving soon. Not moving into Grandma's yet, but that's okay. She's a tough woman and going to be around a while. We found a house in my hometown for rent, and it's around the same amount we pay now, so we figured why not? I'm feeling pretty excited.

No. When you get the series X just carve a big X on one side (I guess you could use a soldering iron) and stick the green jewel in the middle.

Watch Dogs: Legion Is Broken at Launch on Xbox One X

    Spoiler warning:

Watch Dogs: Legion is due to launch tomorrow, but anyone planning to play the game on Xbox One X is advised to wait until at least Friday to boot up Ubisoft's game.

As Eurogamer reports, there's a game-breaking bug in the Xbox One X version of this latest entry in the action-adventure game. Between six and eight hours into the single-player campaign and during a mission fittingly called "404," the Xbox One X will pop up a message warning players the console is about to shut down. The reason? Overheating.

The game is being released for PS4, Xbox One, Windows, and Stadia tomorrow, but the overheating problem seems to be limited just to the Xbox One X. Ubisoft is aware of the issue and has promised "there will be a hot fix due to be released on 30th October which should help." That's not going to help Xbox One X owners tomorrow, although they should be able to enjoy the first few hours of the game at least.

As Ubisoft has apparently recommended the Xbox One X as the preferred platform for reviewers to experience the game, this may result in a few reviews being delayed. Eurogamer has already stated its review will be held until after the hotfix has been applied and the difference it makes assessed. If you're planning to pick up one of the next-generation consoles, Legion will be available at launch for both the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Run the console close to an air conditioner and don't run it for 6+ hours at a time if it's a 30c or hotter day.
I've been paranoid about overheating and stressing hardware during summer for years now anyway... both M$ and Sony consoles
I worry about really old consoles too. I usually don't use those much during the hotter parts of the year.

Here in America, its winter. Which is probably obvious, lol. I usually have a fan going on 24/7 during the summer. Also, the steam Halloween sale is on and the deals just aren't that good.

    WE GOT THE HOUSE!

The dude who was renting it out was my old Baseball coach and he just straight up offered it to us. Moving in on the 16th of November. I'm so fucking hyped.

Bahahaha pretty much. It doesn't help though that they've been having trouble finding a tenant, they even lowered the rent $100 for us. They've had multiple people come through and never apply lol. I applied before we even saw the place.

It's an older house, the bottom floor is the one that's been remodeled while the top floor is kinda showing it's age, but we're all good with it.

I pretty much use my PC as a heat source in the winter.

That's honestly what it feels like right now. Wife is supposed to be getting a Promotion, I'm going to be getting a job closer to where we're moving, and things are just finally falling into place.
