    There's a poison farting boar in Assassin's Creed (Odyssey iirc). Fairly tough fight solo.
    When I first encountered it I died several times because I was laughing

    I assume they've gone off around me though

    Apparently they go off all the time. They're just not very big and mostly on the other side of the island or much farther north (I looked a few things up) and that's where one of those big fault lines run from down through California.

    But the tremors or aftershocks can be felt in the city and lower mainland. Again though they're pretty tiny and yeah most people wouldn't even notice. I felt it this morning however for just a few seconds.
