I think my great-gpa had a flag too. I can't remember, the funeral was so long ago. The gun-salute was neat, but loud.

Yeah it was super loud. I think they fire off M1 Garands during them, at least that's what I was told by my cousin. I had to cover my kiddo's ears during it cause it was so loud.

Huh, we've been thinking about options for where we're going to live here soon...Cause we're planning on moving away from the big city.

There's a house that's right across from my parents, it's a small house so we'd probably have to add onto it, that's going up for sale soon. We've known the owners for years, great people. They're selling off their house out there and it's just down the road from my Grandma's house as well.

We're planning on applying for a Mortgage for it, if we get the house we also get a really big garage that has a family room/man cave in it. Basically a second living room out in the garage. If we end up getting Grandma's house when that time comes (hopefully not for a couple years, she's a really headstrong and resilient woman, she'll be around a while yet) we were going to apply to get her house, lower our mortgage payments, and rent out the smaller house. So...Here's hoping things work out. We think it's a great idea and I couldn't agree more that it's a great idea. Be closer to my family, my Grandma in her final years, and get a house to call our own.

Well, I guess we'll see where life takes us.

HDMI mod for the original Xbox.

Here's a review of the MakeMHz HDMi mod for the original Xbox. This mod taps the digital audio and video signals before they're ever sent to analog, making it a true digital-to-digital HDMI solution.

Ryzee had a similar project but put it on hold (OGXboxHDMI).
He's the same guy that created the ogx360.
Usually puts his stuff up on github so you can get your own boards fab'd and build stuff yourself, but he has made kits and sold them via etsy.

Finished playing The Outer Worlds last night, rather enjoyed it but didn't go nuts trying to do everything in the game.
If you like the modern Fallout games I recommend it

Wouldn't say it was a great game - they could have done so much more, by no means bad though. However I got it the first day and was glued to it for some reason (beat it in five days)

I wasn't expecting it to be all that good so maybe that's why I enjoyed it.
Could've spent way more time doing side quests and stuff but I've got a huge pile of shame atm
I could easily play it again sometime.

Oh btw, when I went to Byzantium (where all the rich folk are)...
    Spoiler warning:
Was using some stealth during the quest there but then decided to simply kill people, maybe it was because I ran out of smokes irl, idk
But yeah, killed nearly everybody including civilians and looted everywhere. Even went all around the place looking for more people to kill, terminator style

Just in case some people aren't aware of this...

Mafia III all the DLC are free now, on Xbox One anyway but I assume PS4 is the same.
They don't automatically appear as optional downloads via the OS you need to go look in the store.

So you only need the base game to get the complete game now

Welp that was quick after Microsofts recent purchase. Doom Eternal is on Game pass now.

One thing I found with gamepass is that it borked some of my physical game installs.
After ultimate expired I had to reinstall a few games, maybe because I got updates when my sub was active but I really dunno what happened. I assume the licenses got messed up or something

Weird. Don't think updates should mess anything up. Unless maybe there was dlc included that you may not have had with the physical? I don't think that would do it either though.

Must be you hit upon something rare.

I can't remember the titles now tbh. They might've been original Xbox (I'm getting near the whole set now just a few more) or maybe 360.
Don't think they were XB1 games.

    No it wasn't DLC.
