I figure it probably wouldn't be worth it. Too much overhead.

I seriously considered dumping 10k into random crypto a few years ago. I probably would have "made money" and started dumping a large % of my saving into it. But there was a 99% chance I would've used QuadrigaCX because they were the most accessible exchange here, so my hindsight of not doing it is 20/20.... (edit: if the name isn't familiar, Google QuadrigaCX if you want to be put off ever buying crypto)

That market needs regulations and securities before I'll even consider putting money in it. And when it gets regulations its volatility will probably die off, meaning you won't randomly double your money. So it's all pointless.

*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

Yeah I figure it would be too much hassle. However maybe back in the day if I had mined some bitcoin when it first started and had it converted into my local currency, then maybe it would have been worth it.

I wouldn't use an adblocker if the ads advertised something I care about.

Look at the length sites go to now just to get people to disable their adblocker. Its out of control.

There are filters that remove those nag screens and popups. It's the autoplay video ads that really get my goat. They're ubiquitous these days and beyond annoying. Whatever you're selling I'm not buying it.

I kinda like it when a site locks up because I'm blocking everything and it wants me to disable whatever I'm using. Maybe there's a way around such a thing, but I'm just a simple man.
I just close the tab and look elsewhere

Oh man, fuck those auto-play ads. Love when my audio get hijacked by one hidden somewhere on the page.

I love ROMs and not the people that are cracking down on ROM sites and/or file hosts. My previous post here was probably deleted because I went into too much detail regarding what Americans and the Presidents are doing to the entire world and to the Internet. I normally don't discuss politics because I don't like them and it tends to get really ugly really fast, however it's an election year and I'm being bombarded by them as headlines every time I read the news online. I'd like to start a journalism site that does not allow politics so I can read news I'm interested in and am not repulsed by.

I only have Bethesda games on Steam. To have the entire selection of their games to install on new PC right away. I don't do much PC gaming these days because a Windows 10 update bricked my PC and out of frustration with Microsoft's horrid new updates I haven't gotten around to fix my borked OS. Can't be arsed to fix it either, I have a Linux PC that dual boots into Windows 7 which has similar specs. I know I'm already a broken record predicting the next version of Windows will be Linux-based, with a Windows API for backwards compatibility. It's only logical to compete with Android which does not bork itself with updates because it's Linux-based.

Anyway, I'm so fed up with Microsoft I don't dual boot into Windows 7 to play games very often. I have an XBone and do most of my gaming on it. MS does know what it's doing with it's games and consoles, definitely in the same league as Sony. I have reason to be fed up with Microsoft and to love it too, sort of like a girlfriend in a dysfunctional relationship I'll have to dump forever if she doesn't get her act together. For now I'm not having sexy time with Windows and giving Linux much attention and love.
