my friend is playing his dreamcast on pc.
i think all you need is some adapter for the display.
i'm not sure what is it though, but it is possible.

if it's possible with dc, why not with psx?
go to the local game stores and ask them. (ie future shop)

    EDIT

    some links from google

    http://www.absolute-playstation.com/api_faqs/faq15.htm
http://www.jandaman.com/thestore/PC.html (this seems to have all the cables you needed)

What exactly do you mean? Do you want to connect a console to your monitor or to the PC itself? And if you want to connect it to your PC, why?

You must have an expensive monitor, otherwise this seems pointless. I have my PC connected to my TV so I can play all of my PC games/roms on my television.

Anyway, using a TV card is one option... another would be to find or make a VGA-to-A/V port adapter. I could make one easily enough in theory. I could just strip off the cover on my VGA extension cable exposing the wires. Then I do the same for my N64 composite cable and tie together the proper wires.
