haven't actually finished one yet, but chronotrigger is the first one i started.
First I played: Dragon Quest (first one...) for the NES
First I beat: I think it was Final Fantasy IV for the SNES...
FFIV was the first RPG I really got into, me and a friend played it together, alternating characters: The one with Cecil always got 2 and the other one got 3... Damn those mages!!
For Christmas a few years back I asked for Final Fantasy 7. To prepare myself for the game I started playing Final Fantasy Mystic Quest for SNES... I was relieved to find FF7 to be much more enjoyable. Before FF7 I had never played a game that I referred to as an RPG (I had ofcourse played Pokemon Blue/Red).
Dragon Warrior, a classic that still gives me warm fuzzies when I think about it. I don't remember how old I was when I played it. between 13 and 15 I think.
How old are you now?
