    Unhappy Help with MAME

This has honestly been one of the most frustrating emulators that I have ever used. I have been able to get a couple of games going on the emulator, however, no matter what I do I cannot figure out how to get Marvel vs Capcom 1 & 2 to work properly. It seems noone has been able to upload a guide/video on how to use MAME version 0.203. It looks/works great, but please is there anyone who can help me properly use it/play Marvel vs Capcom 1 & 2? Every time I try playing it it's always giving me an error that reads: [dl-1425.bin (24576 bytes)-NOT FOUND (qsound_hle)]. I cannot figure out how to make it work. Please anyone, it will help me out so much.

Mvsc2 would probably be best run with nulldc (Dreamcast) or even the ps2 version with pcsx2. Make sure you have the parent rom for cps2 games btw for MvsC1 and earlier to run on mame etc. Oh and it sounds like you're also just missing the qsound thingum which is included in most sets.

I appreciate the reply, I actually really dont like the gui of nulldc. That's the thing, I just need the latest qsound for my verion of mame, but I can't find the one for my version (0.203) anywhere. Is there any way you have a link or what to do in order to solve my issue?

Also, pcsx2 only has marvel vs capcom 2, not the original marvel vs capcom... and unfortunately that one is my favorite

Normally I'd just attach the rom for you, but since this place has become squeaky clean, I guess that is no longer allowed.

    QSOUND_HLE.ZIP

OK, with the moderator's blessing, here it is.

Just put the zipfile, as is, into your roms folder.

I was also thinking like zaladane said, you could save yourself a big headache, and just play it on a console.
