    Grabbed a SNES emulator pack with the SNES Classic interface. There are a good few others such as NES, PC Engine etc.

    Not that anyone asked me, but my old game of the year would be Outrun. It's the perfect arcade racer. Shout out to God Hand for being hilarious and awesome as well though.

    Worst new game I played this year was Ys VIII. Disappointed in the gameplay direction of this series and I don't expect 9 to buck any current ARPG trends.

    It'll be way to hard for me to have a best retro game because of so many systems and genres. Have a look in retro - I have a preview of sorts of what I'm trying to do.

    Octopath is super great if you like old school JRPGS. It's the culmination of SE's old games imo, just pure bliss. Can't recommend it enough.
