Better yet, get some decent mods, like AWKCR and legendary Modification. When you have Genius mods on every piece of armor and clothing, you will actually level at a non-boring rate.

P.S. BOS is shit. They want to control all of the technology and so all of the people. Wipe them out.
If he uses mods he'll disable cheevos. Mods are only good for replays.

Anyway there's no need for tricks to boost levelling imo.
If you find something hard go do something else even if it's just scrounging stuff in locations you're already familiar with.

level 35 right now. I'm not worrying about mods atm - on the Xbox anyways and yeah I know you can still use them but gonna hold off for now.

Game overall really isn't that hard anyways. I mean yeah I've died a few times but spent alot of time just roaming and finding weapons and armor of which I've upgraded at the time and so on.

Anyway gonna take a break and enjoy a little Saturday evening smoke and watch some BSG. It's getting kinda silly but I still enjoy some of the actors.

Hey Dead - hear about the chick who plays Cally involved with some company which is said to be a cult and dealing in human trafficking? The asian girl who plays Sharon was a member as well as one from Smallville (Kreuk?)

Right in my own city too!

I've died a couple of times on Xbone but it's all usually falling from high places without power armor, and one time I let a Super Mutant Suicider kill me on purpose (cheevo).

I pretty much never use melee weapons. Hell I don't even use bash for guns either really.
If you like shotguns there's a nice unique one at Libertalia, but you can probably only get it if you go through the Institute questline. Normally I think there's a standard fatman in the same spot

The shotty is Le Fusil Terribles, upgrade it and it does some pretty serious damage.

I couldn't just run in and grab it? Don't think I'm anyway near that point in the game. I've come across a few Synths (found an oldfolks home with a bunch of good items and a dozen synths burst in and came after me) and cleared out a little outpost through a sewer across from a little town in on it which I took over and is now a settlement of mine. Other than that it's been mostly whispers of the Institute among npc's.

If you think mods disable achievements, you haven't found the right mods.

But either way, if you find an explosive plasma gun and put a beam splitter on it, the only way you will ever die is accidental suicide. I just finished clearing all of Nuka-world with about 4 stim paks.

It's possible there are mods that don't disable cheevos on Xbone (like PC) but I haven't bothered checking tbh. Technically the console versions are designed that way though, you use mods and you lose the ability to unlock trophies/cheevos.

You could try. It's all the way at the top of the main boss area (the main large ship). At your level it's definitely doable I've done it lower than 30 myself.

Le Fusil Terribles is a unique but it's basically a named legendary "violent" combat shotgun. It's always there so it's easy to get instead of trying to farm legendary drops just to get a decent legendary shotty.

I also use Spray n' Pray sometimes (which is an explosive submachine gun), a .308 sniper rifle with freezing effect and a .50 explosive sniper rifle.
Also, Deliverer which is a unique 10mm silenced pistol.

It works the same on a real system as on consoles, but you can find a Mod that stops other mods from disabling achievements.

Spray n pray is ok, but a plasma with explosive and beam splitter is an order of magnitude better. Look at the DR of raider armor compared to the energy resistance and you will begin to understand. The real difference is that each pellet explodes, including the energy damage, which shreds anything.

If you insist on playing without mods, you can always save scum and use Bloatfly Larva + Syringer to try and get one.
