OG RDR is proving to be pretty good very similar to gta. I was expecting it to be set in the 1800's though and it bugs me there isn't a quick weapon switch it's annoying to bring up the window every time I need to switch weapons.

RDR can be fun but I think it's generally overrated, much like the more recent GTA's. That's probably just me though.

Laid down to take a nap and my 60lb dog decides to crawl onto my chest just to pin me down and belch in my face.

Well besides Streets of Rage 4, not much exciting news from Gamescom.

It has a release date? I'm not seeing anything soon, Amazon says March next year.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

Luckily, I figured that would happen, so I also bought a Retroduo console, from Vintage Stock yesterday, that plays NES and SNES games! The controller is crap, but at least I can swap it with a SNES controller. They also had an actual Atari2600 system and I was tempted to buy it, but I don't have a way to hook it up to a flatscreen TV yet. Gotta buy an adapter first.

I got 32 NES games, which surprisingly all work. Star Fox is the only SNES game I own. Everything else I gave to my older bro (they were his games to begin with), so I'm starting my SNES collection from the ground up. The SNES itself, the console's red light comes on, so that's a good sign, but I don't have the TV cords for it, so I can't properly test it yet.
Offering some comments if you don't need it then ignore me.

Vintage Stock has pretty bad prices usually. I would be sure to check anything there online to make sure you are getting a fair shake. If you've got a vcr and your tv has composite in you can play that atari. Any vcr or tv converter box can serve as an rf demodulator so that's something to keep in mind. The vcr wouldn't even need to be able to play tapes, just so long as it powers on. If your display doesn't have composite that's more annoying. NES games are quite reliable, it's the first revision us console that has the original pins bend due to the weight of the carts and the design iirc.

I love nes and snes. Great times.

Yes. It looks a bit dated but it's still fun.
If you have the Ultimate Edition you'll probably need to take some breaks instead of trying to get through everything at once. There are alt origin stories for different character builds but those stories are only different at the start for a bit then they merge.

I have a 360 copy for my Xbone but it's another one I haven't got around to playing again.
