The button presses are a bit of a pain in the ass. Like trying to hitch your horse or throw a carcass on the back - spinning around in circles trying to get that sweet spot

Not quite as bad as FFXV was though.

Definitely a lot of weird controls and mechanics issues, but that was nothing new from my last RDR experience. I'm still super happy we got it and I was way excited when Corey brought it home. Just. Ugh. It annoys me so bad. If your horse isn't actively trying to kill you yet just wait.

I went like the first couple days of playing and thought she was making shit up about her horse trying to kill her.

Now when I ride a horse anywhere he constantly tries to rin me into trees and rocks.

Besides that, the controls aren't the worst but they definitely need some work. I have more of an issue with the weird mechanics they decided on like no way to toggle auto weapon storing on your horse, slowing to a crawl in towns, basically all challenges not really feeling like a challenge but a chore.

Is your horse dirty or it's cores drained? I dunno yet how that sorta thing affects it.

OK that was fucking hilarious. Found some random dude trying to calm his horse and went to help and it suddenly kicked him right in the head and bolted (oh and looted the dead guy heheheh)

Found and calmed him myself and riding him now. I dunno how to make him my main horse as his stats are better I think.

Haha, we've seen that one a couple times. If you want him to be your main horse you need your horse nearby. Remove the saddle from yours and plop it on the new one. Tada~

I don't see an option to remove the saddle - maybe I'm not far enough in the story and their will be a mission explaining how do it and then it will be available from then on out?

I have it tied up at camp as a temp horse for now.

Oh ffs. Just loaded up the game and started Hosea's mission to go after a bear and he just told me how to remove my saddle and now it works
