I'm still sort of surprised that PS2 emulation is like... a real working thing now, and has been for a good long while. Back when I still emulated a lot of games, it was nothing more than this wacky pipe dream, and downloading and running supposed "PS2 emulators" was more than likely to just land you with a bunch of viruses. :'D I remember it getting to the point here for a while where we were just closing threads discussing the potential existence of PS2 emulators on sight because it was so far off at the time. I think I'm probably just getting old, but it's still so weird to me that emulation of consoles like the PS2 is a totally viable way of playing now, and that even stuff like PS3 emulation is rapidly getting there too.

My PC is expandable, luckily, so I could probably get more space if I ever had to. I just gotta figure out how. lol!

And I never could get PS1 and PS2 emulation to work. I tried so many times with the PS1 emulator and ISO's, but no luck. I read that the PS2 emulation only works with roms ripped yourself, but not only can't I pull that off, but then I don't see a point.
Well PS2 emulation does require a decently powered rig. However Ps1, you can run on realtively low-end hardware, but it is a little harder to setup, you need a bios, though most modern psx emus can run an iso from .iso or .bin file, give or take, or you count mount it using a virtual drive. Installing a extra hard-drive is pretty easy if you have some tech know how. Though extra storage can be a little expensive.

Yeah I remember when PS2 was in its early stages and it seemed like it would stay that way, then it rapdily evolved. Now Xbox 360 and PS3 emulation is radpily getting better as well. Look at how fast Wii-U Emulation got. If you have a good rig, you can run a lot of Wii-U games on Cemu. Now there is Citra, again you can run a lot of 3DS games if you have a good rig. That Switch emu is making good progress too. Though Nintendo uses less powerful hardware for their consoles.

The good thing about emulation is presevation, though it does get hard when roms and isos become super hard to find.

Very much so! Got a RTX 2070, 16GB of RAM, unfortunately it has an i7 in it, would rather have an i9 but beggars can't be choosers. Either way it's a great computer!

I wouldn't say nobody cares it's just hard to tell when someone goes missing for a while. after all it's really quite here so you gotta make some noise
