Does it take a long time for Play-Asia to ship out?

A couple games. As long it ships by the date it says, it will be fine. I also read a reddit post that seems to all agree that Play-Asia can take some time to ship out.

Also, yeah forums don't seem to be as popular as they used to be back in the day.

I haven't. Played a little of Far Cry 1 and 2. I would like the play them more, I think I would enjoy the Far Cry series.

Yes, on PS3 I had the standalone game first and later got The Wild Expedition (Classic, 2, 3 & Blood Dragon).
I've got it for 360 as well, it's Xbone BC.

I'm just wondering if I have to do all the side stuff before I complete the main missions or if I can do that after I don't want to get myself stuck in a situation like I did in 2(were I couldn't complete everything because I progressed too far)

You can reset outposts if you need to post main story.
It's recommended you do as much as you can as you progress instead of just pushing through the main story, you'll unlock weapons etc that way.
Look at the resource requirements for pouch upgrades etc (if they're unlocked and upgradable) and actively hunt those resources instead of waiting until you stumble across them (you might just forget about it, and extra ammo etc is useful later on).

As for any point of no return, I can't remember if that's an issue tbh. Been a while since I played the whole game and this would really depend if you're going for all trophies...check a guide if you are. If not then what I've mentioned above should keep you well prepared for what happens in the game.

oh I've already got everything inventory/weapons spent a lot of my time early game crafting everything I could. before I took a break tonight I was at 91-92% still have some relics left outposts and other things. 1 thing that has been bugging me is the 1 story quest in thurston town where you have to win $300 playing poker I've tried it twice both times winning over $300 but the quest didn't update either time.

not sure I don't recall seeing a trophy pop on that one I may have gotten one during the game with sam.

just finished far cry 3 pretty good story was shit I really liked the merc story in 2 better. overall the game was much easier than 2 weapon choices were pretty good too. one thing that kept bugging me is most of the voice acting(natives mostly) all sounded aussie or brit despite being in the south pacific. making stealth viable(nearly necessary) was nice(it was difficult to impossible in 2)though it was impossible in the last stretch.
gonna have to think real hard about playing 4 as I was getting kinda sick of the game near the end.

Think Rook Islands are meant to be in Indonesia, which is between the Indian and Pacific oceans. Some Indonesian territory is in Oceania.
The thing with the accents is probably because the islands were supposedly colonised by the british and they also sent convicts there...a lot of the accents from different islands around Australia and New Zealand would seem to sound aussie to north americans (but there are noticeable differences).

It doesn't seem odd to me Those accents don't sound Australian.
