Also after verifying that my cpu was socketed, cleaning the grill-dust and applying new thermal paste, my cpu is running at full turbo and about 38*C on average.
I have always been please with this computer even after having bought it used off an ex. 4 cores running at 2.4GHz is really not bad.

Hey, cool idea. I actually had a Cave Story paint job in mind, but I like that a lot too.
I could add a copper pipe as a long barrel, some electrical tape to look like a sharpshooter's grip and of course some copper/rust paint and some weathering.
Maybe a green LED as a glow sight.

Use electrical conduit pipe, the grey or orange stuff used in factories etc. It should be close to the correct size and bonding plastic to plastic isn't difficult.
Should be able to find a small length in trash somewhere (like a building site).

Has it got a nerf top rail for sight attachments? Keep an eye out for a legit sight attachment at thrift stores, you can use the base to make a pipe sight using conduit. Or you can buy nerf reflex sight on ebay that should fit the rail.
