There's so much immersion in Fallout 4, when rain starts falling it keeps you on your rads toes. Nearly every character build I use is an armorer first and whatever else after that, lead-lined studded leather armor set and components for it is what I'm scavenging for and trading for material-wise. So I normally end up with a well-armored merchant leader/city builder with a companion guard type character in the low to mid levels. I gravitate toward sneaky gun nut sniper after that. There are many builds posted on the Internet and I've tried almost all of them. I get bored of pre-built characters however and get the urge to play as a merchant/leader to role-play as. Yes, there are uber builds that are exclusively combat-based and master merchant isn't exactly overpowering(aside from never running out of money for resources and ammo), but a high level anything build that snipes blows supermutant heads off at great distance with one hit. In any case, merchant/leader with high charisma and a guard is really all that's needed to get thriving settlements and supply lines going which is highly immersive, merchant/leader armorer who becomes sneaky/sniper gun nut is my usual build nowadays, I could play different types but that one is most rewarding in my opinion. One of the reasons I like Falkreath in Skyrim is that's always raining there.

Edit: part of the reason that creating a Fallout 4 character which specializes in armorer first then gun nut, then uses charisma to become a leader and a merchant is that you're able to build high population settlements and not just equip yourself with all the best equipment but your settlers too. In that sense it's an uber build, creates an uber camp for an uber army and hangs out around them to help while defensive turrets help everyone on your side. I like being sneaky sniper flanking opponents after my merchant/armorer/leader/gun nut perks are all maxed.

RDR is good but if you like AC you should play the other titles on PS3 (ACII is really good), maybe take a break playing something else in between.
Demon's Souls is worth having having a go, but yeah it's an unforgiving game and tbh rather boring after a while...KF4 is a more interesting game imo but that's PS2 (it is 100% playable on full CFW but idk about your situation).

FO4 settlers only need to be given miniguns. Don't give them Fat Mans

Righto. I use one heavy armor melee bruiser as a tank for the rest. Right now I'm putting the build I've been using down in print to share, I basically freestyle it as the game and missions go along. It's the product of being fed up with all the combat-heavy builds whose settlements fall apart in the endgame and role-playing as sneaky merchant charismatic leader FTW to beat the game.

I prefer the stealth/sniper builds myself. Most companions are useless but I sometimes have MacCready along, he doesn't really care what you do most of the time.

Never could get into the Bioshocks. I have infinite somewhere on my PC though.

Need a good platformer or quick action type game in between all the huge adventure/open-world games. Works for me!!

I reckon if you like AC you'll be pulling yourself silly over the second one.
