he's one the other one I have is that brother hood girl(I didn't mean to take her) having 2 companions really makes the game easy but it does mitigate the attacks from legion(in my current state they hate me so do the khans and powder gangers)

Yes. Couple of BoS types, NCR salvaged, couple of Remnants types and there are maybe two(?) uniquely named PA.

Depends a little on your build, I usually favor one of the dusters you can get from Lonesome road. Either Ulysses or a Courier duster. There are alot of good armors in the game though.
Edit: Lonesome Road can be a pain in the ass if you're not ready for it though.

I was trying to go for a rouge like build(though it's a little pointless since sneaking isn't as easily doable as in 3) I was also trying to stick with light armor but I haven't found anything decent other than the fire baked gecko most of what I've come across has low dt except the space suit which has pretty good dt and rad resit but I only found 1(+ the helmet) so maintaining it is difficult and people that can repair weapons/armor are pretty scarce(at least so far)

If you like light armors then the dusters are a good pick. I think Ulysses Duster has the best DT to weight ratio in the game plus you get other benefits to it - same with the Courier dusters. For stealth there's the Stealth Suit MKII which I think was in Big MT in the old world blues dlc. I think the stealth suit was light armor too except it talks to you and gets annoying

found the gun runners shop tonight omfg is there some sweet weapons there and some armor that combat reinforced mk II looks pretty sweet(high dt for the weight) picked up a couple of the guns I was looking at off some legion that I killed a short while later
