My old BD player has finally decided to stop playing BDs, I refuse to use my region free BD player for local/all region discs so I've had to setup a PS3 (SS so no slot dragging, and I do have a proper remote) as a BD player It just feels so wrong.

It's been pretty bad here. Weather warnings and such.

This is just standard stuff, I mean it's pretty heavy rain and thunder but we don't see truly dangerous storms locally.
Sometimes a few trees come down but nothing really bad.

Bushfires in summer are pretty much the only thing to worry about. They say it could be bad this year, there have already been some fires around the country.

Ack fires. They get really bad here but thankfully a fair bit north, smoke can still filter down though.

Think I posted a pic last summer or the one before with that weird grayish yellow sky from all the smoke.

Ugh been sitting here for an hour deciding to go out for a walk or not.

There have been some close calls over the years but thankfully no fires have ripped through the town in living memory. Yeah the smoke gets real bad here just about every year, mostly it gives me headaches and stings my eyes...it's all the native stuff burning that does it.
