Thread: Is ZSNES still useful?

    If you say so....I just need to find the money to buy them. If ZSNES was a bad emulator, why was it still considered to be among the most accurate by many fans? I thought it was accurate when I first got but I had no idea of its issues until later.

    While it's nice to be able to mess around with ZSNES's customization settings, it's not actually that great as an emulator. I use two monitors and I always move emulators to the second monitor, but ZSNES refuses to move over. The only reason I keep it around anymore is because, as stated previously, some translations/hacks only work on it. My default is SNES9x.

    Personally I prefer Snes9X, but ZSNES isn't half bad either. You decide what do you like best.

    For me ZSNES is preferred because Snes9x stutters on my system. Personally I'd prefer Snes9x's interface, but the game has to run decent, so I do what I do. I haven't looked much into any others yet, though, but have found I'm not going to bother with Mednafen for anything.
