Default Heroes of might and magic: quest for dragon bone staff PS2 ESR cd2dvd failed

Wanted to post on a net-accessable forum that I tried this, because no info came up on a search. It is a PS2 cd based game.
Converted the cue/bin to a (dvd) ISO using the ultraISO method.
    Patched the ISO for ESR.
Game froze at black screen after character selection. (a movie is supposed to start at that point).... the game, it did not work on a real PS2.
    Game worked in pcsx2.

Has anyone tried the alternate rebuild / dvdscanlite method of rebuilding this ISO and playing it on DVD with or without ESR. The fast spinning of the CD is irritating. Thanks.

I was going to attempt it but then I saw a few movies were out of LBA order and I thought there is probably an LBA check.

I am also wondering if there is a tool like dvdscanlite but for the BIN file? Where you don't have to extract it all?

It is A game I want to try, it is a copy of "Kings bounty" for DOS 1990.

    Edit:
If you have the bin/cue dump (unmodified) please consider sharing (in the relevant section) if it isn't already in the forums.
I'd be interest to test if it works on PS3, I already have some other PS2 CD & DVD games working

    Edit 2:
Just had a quick look and SLES-50186 version is DVD.

    Talking

Using the dvdscanlite method, it was successful!!!
note that I am highly familiar with this method, but have had low success rate compared to UltraISO method.
    But this time it worked!
not only did it work with cd2dvd also worked with ESR.

burned it with nero 10 as udf/iso, lba's default / out of order, working fine!

bin can be found on many romsites cheers
i can share the ISO if need be

    Horrible game! LOL

If you look on gamefaqs there are covers for EU and US releases.

The US rear cover has CD

The EU rear cover has DVD
    https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps2/45.../images/119857

EU release was nearly two months after US.

    Edit:
If you want to share it just the unaltered bin/cue please. The only patched PSX/PS2 games I use on PS3 are English patched (eg Shadow Tower Abyss).
Post in the PS2 uploads section and code your link.
