    Default Picture Obfuscation!

    hi

    i've been using the PCSX2 for some while now and its working great

    but in the barnyard game the picture looks very odd like this

    i've hade it in some other game but its only in the menu , when i play it its fine

    i've tried to change the renderer but still the problem appears

    Far as I can tell this particular game isn't quite 100% compatible yet. You can try opengl software mode (don't forget to set rendering threads to 2 if so!!!) I would turn off the ee and vu speed hacks but leave MTVU on. Might also give EFB copies to ram ticked on as well. Even so it's still going to be a bit buggy.

    it worked quiet well but the performance dropped massively !

    20 fps in the menu and around 30 while playing

    any ideas?!

    You can try increasing the EE and vu cycle hacks back up incremently (and test) and hopefully find a balance. The higher you go the more chance of graphics corruption though. Software mode draws from the cpu so can possibly really slow down the game (make sure rendering threads are set to 2 when in software mode!!!!) Making sure all unnecessary background programs are closed too, might give it a bump.
