Default "The archive is either in an unknown format or damaged"

When I try to download a game I get the message "The archive is either in an unknown format or damaged." I experienced this issue trying to download Pokemon Emerald a few weeks after downloading Pokemon Sapphire. This isn't just with the version I tried because I tried several versions and had the same issue and I even tried downloading the same Pokemon Sapphire ROM I've been using and had the same issue. Any help/ suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for responding, but it didn't work ;-; I tried doing that but got the message that it was an invalid file. For some reason emu paradise is different when I first used it though. Before when I clicked on the link I was taken to a direct download with a dark theme but now (and when I've been having these issues) the emuparadise links takes me to a light theme with a description of the game and comments. Could that be related?

There aren't any pokemon roms on the main site. Are you sure you downloaded those games here? Please don't mention or link to other sites if you reply.

I'm pretty sure I did. I did notice the lack of Pokemon games when browsing around but when I checked this site out firs like two weeks ago there were a ton of Pokemon games. Has something changed?
