Default Making a Mega Drive cartridge from scratch.

    Hi all,
I want to make my own Mega Drive cartridges, I did some research in this forum and a few others and all I gathered is that I have to buy equipment and do the right thing.
I would like to make multiple games cartridges (50 in 1/100 in 1).
What equipment would I have to buy and where from?
Where do I get circuit boards and cartridge shells from?
How do I create a menu for the games?
    Many thanks in advance.

    Not gonna create any multiple games cartridges (50 in 1/100 in 1) ...only 2 in 1 Get GQ-4X + ADP-054 + -007 http://www.mcumall.com/comersus/stor...idProduct=4619
    Cartridge shells https://www.mortoffgames.com/sega-ge...rtridge-shells
    Non-SRAM PCB http://www.second-dimension.com/shop/product/15 SRAM PCB http://www.second-dimension.com/shop/product/14
    [GUIDE] Make a Reprogrammable Genesis Cart https://www.epforums.org/showthread....e-Genesis-Cart 2 in 1 PCB https://www.mortoffgames.com/sega-ge...lti-game-board

Now you can do it easy way it will cost more... simple stick programmer into your PC stick PCB into programmer and Boom! you can flash any game ROM to PCB .. Max rom size 4Mbyte

Hi Killapinke and thank you, sometimes we get better answers than expected.
I understand that you suggested 2 in 1 due to cost or common chips available, but what I had in mind is something like that famous 112 in 1 that has been around for a while now.
What does it take to make one of those? Different chip board or more memory attached to it?
Also, if you or anyone know of very cheap sources for those usually chinese materials (a seller in china perhaps), I know they are less quality and flimsy but that's more ideal i'd say.
Regarding circuits, I read in other forum that a cartridge should be (or shouldn't be) "5V" so consoles don't heat up.
    Thanks again.

Yeah I did but so far not much there, unless I'm not typing the right thing on search, or they keep it for themselves only.
I will keep looking there and alibaba too.

Actually I have just found shells. £1.99 so price is getting better...

Sometimes it can be hard to find what you're looking for there, I've spent ages looking for stuff myself. I don't think the search function is very intelligent.

    Edit:
I don't know anything about making carts myself, but can't you just reuse a Chinese multi cart instead of making a cart from scratch? No?

You are right, after going through many pages, I found cheaper stuff if bought a batch.

Everdrive MD and some Chinese clones.

    Edit:
I think everdrive can run sms and some other stuff, I'm not sure and can't recall details now.

Yeah but everdrives have the memory card inserted externally whilst the 112 cartridge could be built in.

I doubt the multi carts have an sd card slot. The Chinese everdrive clones are cheaper than official but they aren't that cheap.

I got a decent quality Chinese NES multi cart recently it has over 400 (no dupes) games including translations, even has FF7. It doesn't have an SD card but it does have a battery for saves. It was heaps cheaper than a Chinese N8 clone.

No such a thing as a PCB with a memory card ... Everdrive MD but looking at $80 for 112 in 1 Multi Cartridge there using some type of flash PCB need find software to make ROM image combine ROM'S together with title screen
