Default Question About Neo Geo AES Roms?

    Hi,

I have all roms for the TurboGrafx, Sega Mega Drive and Super Nintendo and they are all 1 file per game.

my question is how come the Neo Geo AES roms have multiple files per game?

for example i downloaded Fatal Fury (1991) and it has 10 files.

is there a way to combine these 10 files into one file like the TurboGrafx, Mega Drive and Super Nintendo roms?

please help someone who knows about this

Did you download from here? Can you link? (If from here)

Is it possible you've downloaded the arcade system games instead? Those are always multiple parts - quite often a bunch of .bin files. I'm not very knowledgable with neogeo but I could download and have a peek at least.

Neogeo always has multiple roms, that is how it is designed.

p roms contain the m68000 program code
s rom contains the text layer
m rom contains the z80 program code
c roms contain the main graphics
v roms contain the main sounds

Search around the web for photos of opened neogeo cartridges.... you'll see the multiple roms.

I won't link it because you can see what happened to your post.
