Question Why are all downloads .7z?

Dolphin requires me to provide it with GameCube images, or ISO images, but the only download link for the game of my choice is in .7z format... Am I missing something here?

Unpack the file(s) first. WinRAR might ignore them if you open .7z files with it, so use the program 7-zip.

Files unpacked, now I just have a buncha .dsp files and a single .dll file... Still not optimal. What next?

I'm guessing you unpacked the .iso file. If you made a mistake like that, Windows is probably hiding known file extensions from you. Fix that:

*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

I've already made file extensions visible ages ago, and the image was NEVER IN ISO FORMAT. It's begun as a .7z containing a bunch of .dsp files and a .dll file.

Open 7zip and click on tools, then options and untick .iso in file associations and then click ok

You should always have a .gcm or .iso for Gamecube games.

Did you download from Emuparadise or the forums?
