Default How to use code Breaker properly

Well as the title states, yeah.. I've ran the "game" code breaker V (Whatever number) and after choosing the cheats/hacks for the game I want to play and trying to "swap" the rom, nothing happens and it just freezes or the game just doesn't load.

Am I doing something wrong? Or can someone point me in the direction to learn it more simple? Would greatly appreciate it.

If anyone's curious why or what for, here's a link.

Or something like, how do I convert this properly to work for the Star Ocean TTEOT I am playing/using.

TL; DR I want to be able to use infinite health for Star Ocean Till the End of Time.

    Thanks again!
