genesis, snes, N64, NDS, psx, ps2, original xbox, and ps4, which is to be my final console as i'm sick and tired of all the BS surrounding console and handheld gaming.

F nintendo, sega, and all the other greedy anti-fan anti-consumer anti-preservation pushers of complete and utter horseshit! and F anyone who tries to make the claim that downloading and emulating ROMs and ISOs of old games is somehow piracy despite the FACT that apparently it isn't piracy IF you first pay those greedy companies for the privilege of emulating the very tiny % of the total games THEY choose to allow you to emulate.

i'm done with console gaming. at this point, while it may bug the heck outta me to do so, i'll just wait for pc ports/versions of games i want to play (or emulate them in the case of older titles) then do the devs job for them by tech supporting the broken gamepad support and anything else that should've been fixed BEFORE the title was released.

M$ is doing an ok job of supporting their old console titles. Obviously it doesn't cover everything, but they added about 10 games last month alone.
It isn't just 360 stuff btw, I've put about 10 Xbox titles on my Xbone so far and they look and play much better even though it's just an S and not an X.
Altogether I think I've got over 40 games on the console covering the last 2 gens.

Sure, you can argue that many of these have PC versions. But some of us still prefer our consoles.

As a system it's much cheaper than either PS4 or Switch too (at least here it is anyway), with the added bonus of being an actual UHD BD player.

I'm probably in the minority here given what this site has done for nearly 20 years, but that's a grossly childish response to the console and handheld industry getting that butthurt and vindictive about them trying to attack those who steal their assets by one means or another. They have ever legal and obligated right to guard their stuff, just as much as you do from some dude breaking into your pad doing a home invasion, it's just on a far larger scale. Yes they're so so greedy reissuing their games they made and wanting to make money on them, oh the crimes against humanity there.

Obviously I'm here, and I do use the site so I'm no saint either, but at least I accept what they're doing, respect it, and work around it. Living in some bitchy vindictive world of denial is just stupid and consuming.
