You mean for an sd card? Think the max was 32gb. There are workarounds to go higher but think that was the "basic" maximum.

I have a dual micro SD adapter running 2x 32GB (SanDisk SDHC ultra)....so 64GB total.
I think you might be able to use 2x 64GB or possibly even 2x 128GB cards but I can't confirm that myself.

Yeah that's why I mentioned 32gb as the basic max (for a single card) but you have a point with using dual micro - completely forgot about that. I don't think 64 or 128's were even around when the psp first came out But pretty sure there are exploits or custom firmwares that let you go much higher

I'm not sure but if you go higher than 32GB micro SD cards you might have to get XC and I have no idea if they work. SDHC ultra work though.

From my experience you can safely stick a 64GB micro sd card into one of those dual adapters, not 2 though. Anything over 64GB starts causing weird issues.

I think micro sd adapters have a speed limit in them, which is lower than basically all cards sold nowadays. So just buy whatever is cheapest. Oh and stick to identical model sd cards if you're sticking in 2 sd cards.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

Ok so because I've only tested 2x 32GB SDHC cards myself I went ahead and did some googling...

Apparently the more recent CFWs should support up to 2TB.
You can use different sized cards in a dual adapter, although it is recommended to use 2 cards that are exactly the same.

    PSP Model - PSP-1001
    Firmware - CFW 6.61 ME 2.3
    MicroSD card #1 Make/Model/Size - SanDisk 200GB Ultra microSDXC UHS-I/Class 10
