Just wondering if it is?
Yes you can record your own video games if it's on a TV or you can make your own repros if that's what you ment ...dont let anybody in this world tell you what you can an cant do you can be an do anything..
What i mean is is it legal to record my own videogames non-profit without uploading online?
Based on the law:
Derivative Works Edit
According to Section 173.2 of the Intellectual Property Code,[4] derivative works are defined as new work provided that they do not violate any subsisting copyright upon the original work employed or any part thereof, or to imply any right to such use of the original works, or to secure or extend copyright in such original works.
So does it mean if i record an small portion of a videogames like 30secs then edit it without uploading though. Is it considered derivative works?

Did the Philippines join the Trans Pacific Partnership? If yes, then other countries copyright laws do apply to you. If no, random world laws probably have no bearing on you. Your country needs to have international treaties specifically bringing that stuff in, and most international treaties are ancient and don't reflect modern copyright issues.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here
In fair use copyright law my i ask whats the meaning of "The amount and sustainability of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole"? Pls answer.
People have recorded/streamed full games on Youtube and other video sites without much trouble. I don't think you'll run into any legal problems just recording some gameplay and putting it on a video hosting site. I mean if you're not going to put it online, you can pretty much record whatever you want. Most game companies don't have a problem with gaming footage being uploaded to video hosting sites, its really just free advertising for them.
