that's weird my ds3 has pretty good battery life but I also don't run it dead. I usually get 6-8 hrs of constant play before my charge drops.

It isn't good enough for an internal battery imo.
With M$ controllers if the batteries die I can swap in freshly charged AA's in a matter of seconds so no need for charge and play kit.

I can see how that's convenient. all I have to do to charge is plug the usb cable in which takes 2-3 secs. at the end of the day is more about preference.
