Kremvh's Tooth? That's a unique machete.
You can remove the sacrificial blade mod from it and use it on other machetes, like a higher damage legendary type.

Most unique weapons can't have their unique mods swapped out iirc, well in the unmodded game anyway.
Unique and legendary are different kinds of weapons. Legendary is just high lvl and rarer (although more legendary gear and enemies spawn at higher difficulty).
