I have one of those 16x PCI Express slots on my mobo. Can anyone recommend something a little more interesting than my nvidia Galaxy 8400 GS which recently died? I have an HP Elite 8000 Convertible Mini Tower, and the processor is 3.0 Ghz Dual Core. I think I have 4gb of ddr-3 ram installed in two of the 4 slots.

I have a very similar system. I put in an old Geforce GTX 465, 1 GB and I am able to run GTAV, Fallout 4, No Man's Sky... It doesn't take anything really special to run your games unless you demand 4k with cherries on top.

That said, mine is an AMD A8-3870 4-core APU so I was able to run Fallout 4 before the GPU with some custom settings, like 90% of the bushes were gone unless you looked through a scope, which was great for visibility.

Were any of those games you have there free besides FO Shelter? I've been meaning to browse on the store but haven't got around to it.

Meh there's not much. Kings Quest (episode 1 ) was free kinda like all the telltale stuff. Adventure poop and fallout shelter were free and umm oh that poker one aaaand the latest hitman was a demo of the first 2 training missions. There's not much else - most are free to play stuff online only like Warframe, DC universe online, ST online etc..
