Tomb Raider 1 and 2 black screen and .cues dont work

HI. I'm trying to get a couple of games to run on ePSXe for both android and windows. but get the same problems on both tomb raider 1 and 2.

get to the title screen on both games hit new game and just get a black screen.

after a little bit of googling it appeared the problem was due to missing .cue files in both the games. and then I found this thread. https://www.epforums.org/showthread.php?57757

in there downloaded the cues and sbis file and found the .cues for my games.

tomb raider (E) [SLES-00024]
tomb raider 2 (E) [SlES-00718]

extracted the .cues and put them in the directories with the rest of the games files but still cannot get either of the games to work.

can anyone help with this?

Not sure if it's related but E games tend to have copy protection more often than U games.

Might also be related to plugin configuration so check out PSXDATACENTER.COM

If nothing else works, try to find Warrior and get help setting up Retroarch.

Ok well after reading that figured I'd try the u version and seems to work. Didn't even need a USA bios.
