    Default What's your favorite bands?

I have two that I never tire of, Grand Funk Railroad and Blue Oyster Cult. Mark and Buck are my guitar idols (I played guitar).

I love the 60s and the 70s but the 80s really made the scene. Different styles of music in that decade, what a blast.

    So who do you like?

Besides good ol' rock, I like alternative punk rock bands such as The Queers, Screeching Weasel, The Mr. T Experience, The Lillingtons...

I also like classic country, especially Hank Williams Sr.

But I can listen to pretty much anything; my music collection has dozens of various genres.

Yes, I have variety too including classical but there's some country I can't stand sorry to say. I don't like rap either.

I love Vince Gill and Willie Nelson though.

That's the "House of the Rising Sun" Animals? Love Eric Burdon's voice.

Grew up in the nineties - all my teen years took place in that decade actually.

Alot of the so called grunge or alternative rock. Still listen to quite a few like:

    Pearl Jam
    Soundgarden
    Alice n Chains
    Nine inch Nails
    Guns n Roses
    Stone Temple Pilots
    And some others.

They are a really good band! Not a fan of the more political approach their singer has been taking lately, but, the music itself is great.

Same here. But unlike many fans, I prefer their newer works. The ¡Uno! / ¡Dos! / ¡Tre! trilogy is one of my favorites.

Although politics are important, i dont particularly enjoy it in music. It's like being fed someone else's idea.

In green day's uno dos tres album, I think the song Nuclear family talks about politics with china and an imminent nuclear war.
I can't imagine a lot of people enjoying those lyrics, right? Haha.
